Terms of use

1. Who we are

NappyMap Limited (Companies House no. 17029501) operates NappyMap (nappymap.co.uk and the app). For any question about these terms, contact us at hi@nappymap.co.uk.

2. What NappyMap is

NappyMap brings together information contributed by other parents and gathered from third-party sources. We don't verify it, and it can be out of date - facilities change, venues close, opening times shift. Please check with the venue directly before relying on a listing for a specific trip.

3. What you contribute

When you add a comment, photo, or facility information, you keep ownership of it. By submitting it, you give us permission to show it on NappyMap and use it to help other parents find and evaluate venues.

By uploading a photo, you confirm you took it yourself or otherwise have the right to share it.

If you ask us to remove your contribution, we'll take it down and delete it permanently, including every stored size of any photo. We can't recover it afterwards, so please be sure.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use NappyMap to:

• post abusive, harassing, or misleading content;
• post information you know to be false;
• upload photos you don't have the right to share;
• share anything that identifies a child who is not your own;
• attempt to disrupt or misuse the service.

Anyone can report a comment. A reported comment is hidden straight away, before anyone has looked at it, and stays hidden until we review it. That is deliberate: we would rather briefly hide something fair than leave something harmful up.

When we review it we either put it back, or delete the part that broke these rules - the text, a photo, or the whole comment. Deletion is permanent. If we haven't reviewed a reported comment within 30 days, we delete it anyway. We run that clear-out ourselves at the moment rather than it happening automatically, so treat 30 days as what we aim for rather than a guarantee - we are in the middle of automating it. We can also restrict access where these rules are broken.

5. Venue listings

A listing on NappyMap is not an endorsement and does not imply any commercial relationship with the venue. If you run a venue and want to correct or remove a listing, contact us at hi@nappymap.co.uk.

6. Availability

NappyMap is provided "as is." We may change, suspend, or withdraw all or part of the service at any time, and we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

7. Our responsibility to you

To the extent permitted by law, NappyMap is provided for general information only, and we're not liable for decisions made in reliance on it. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that can't legally be excluded.

8. Changes to these terms

We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever we change these terms. Continuing to use NappyMap after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
